👶 Baby Update

Size: A full-size football

Baby's brain is still developing rapidly and will continue after birth. Chest is more prominent. Baby is usually 7-8 pounds and about 20 inches. Fully ready for the outside world.

💕 What She's Going Through

May have diarrhea or nausea (body clearing out before labor). Extreme fatigue or sudden burst of energy (both are pre-labor signs). Strong Braxton Hicks. Ready to be done.

💪 What You Should Do This Week

  • Watch for real labor signs: regular contractions, water breaking, bloody show
  • Stay close to home and keep your phone on you at all times
  • Do something nice for her — her last days before life changes forever

🚫 Don't Say This

Is the baby EVER coming?!

She's more frustrated than you are. She's the one who can't sleep, walk, or breathe properly. Patience.

🧠 Dad Hack

When her water breaks: note the time, the color (should be clear), and head to the hospital. If it's green or brown, go IMMEDIATELY.
