Size: A water bottle

A waxy coating called vernix caseosa is covering baby's skin to protect it. Sensory development is exploding — brain is designating areas for smell, taste, hearing, sight, and touch.

💕 What She's Going Through

Hip pain as ligaments loosen. Skin changes — possible melasma (dark patches on face). Leg cramps, especially at night. Growing appetite.

💪 What You Should Do This Week

  • The anatomy scan (big ultrasound) is usually next week — clear your calendar
  • Decide together: are you finding out the sex? Agree before the appointment
  • Help with leg cramps — stretch her calves and keep bananas (potassium) stocked

I don't care if it's a boy or girl.

She might care. Or might have feelings about it. Make space for that conversation.
