👶 Baby Update
Size: A hockey puck
End of the first trimester! Baby has fingerprints. Vocal cords are developing. If you're having a girl, she already has about 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Baby's intestines have moved from the umbilical cord into the abdomen.
💕 What She's Going Through
The worst of nausea is usually over (🎉). Energy is coming back. She may be feeling more like herself. Libido might return. Visible baby bump emerging.
💪 What You Should Do This Week
- ✓Celebrate making it through the first trimester — it's a milestone
- ✓If you haven't announced, now's the traditional time
- ✓Start a baby budget — you've got about 6 months to financially prepare

“Finally, you're back to normal!”
She's not 'normal' — she's pregnant. The symptoms changed, they didn't disappear. Pregnancy is ongoing.
